Ben Durham
CEO / Founder
Ben Durham is a seasoned professional in the moving industry with over three decades of experience. His career began in 1989 with City Transfer & Storage, an Allied Van Lines agent, where he started as a surveyor and estimator. Through dedication and expertise, Ben advanced to the position of operations manager under the mentorship of owners Bob and Arlene Maggiorini, who retired in December 2009 after over 50 years in the business.
In September 2008, Ben founded Express Moving & Storage in Bakersfield, California, establishing it as a small independent moving company. By 2011, recognizing his extensive experience and commitment to quality service, Allied Van Lines approached Ben to become an agent, enabling Express Moving & Storage to offer long-distance moving services. Under Ben’s leadership, the company has built a reputation for excellence, providing competitive estimates and reliable scheduling for clients’ moving needs.
Ben’s deep understanding of the moving industry and his hands-on approach have been instrumental in the growth and success of Express Moving & Storage, making it a trusted choice for both local and long-distance relocations in the Bakersfield area.
